After the establishment of the playground, MBI started teaching the fundamentals of the game to the surrounding youth. This is an ongoing activity that takes place every week, especially during the weekends. The regular attendance in the training varies from 20 to 30 in school time and 30-50 in the holidays. The age of the youth who attend the trainings varies from 5 to 18 years old. On Saturday the training starts from 07:00 to 10:00 and Sunday from 15:00 to 17:30 including the session for life skills discussion on the selected specific topic or an issue that might arise. The topic selected emphasizes education, public health like hygiene, and goal setting. The training was usually facilitated by one of our two coaches IFASHABAYO Benjamin & UMURISA Adrien. But sometimes we can have some external coaches or facilitators on a planned topic.
